0:00 You can manage warehouse locations, or bin locations as we call them in Digit, by going into the settings tab, by clicking on the settings icon at the top navigation.
0:09 On the left, under the warehouse section, you can see bin locations. These are all the, the individual racks, or specific locations within racks, on the floor, anywhere in the warehouse where you're storing raw material, work in process, or finished good inventory.
0:24 Here, you can create new warehouse locations, you can give it a specific location code, you can assign it to any warehouse, maybe you have three warehouses in the area, and you want to assign it to HQ, you can add a description, you can add tags, custom fields, and you can create labels for this warehouse
0:46 location. If we call this our Receiving Bay 3, then we can see as we type, our QR code and standard barcode print, uh, uh, show up here.
0:57 You can then print either one of these onto a label that you can stick on the rack, um, print on a piece of paper to put in the actual location that material handlers or people moving inventory around can actually scan into and out of when they're moving inventory.
1:13 You can click Create Warehouse Location, and you can see that appear. This list will show you all of your warehouse locations, and will also give you an update of how many inventory codes are in each one, the total value of that inventory, and will show you any tags or custom fields that you've created
1:28 here. Once you have this inventory ready, when you go to actually move items around, throughout your warehouse, these are the different from and to locations that you'll be able to scan into and out of here.
1:41 You'll also be able to, when you create, when you receive inventory from production, from, ah, receiving POs, from, those at the dock, you'll be able to accept and receive that inventory into any warehouse location.
1:55 So anywhere you see warehouse location in digit, these locations are the things that you're setting within the warehouse location detail screen.
2:05 We also have the ability to add warehouse locations from any of these detail screens without having to go over the settings, which is a really nice user-friendly feature that we put in.
