Sales Orders: Working with Line Items

Navigating to Line Items

  1. Go to Sales orders from the main dashboard.

  2. Once there, switch your view to Line items.

    This view shifts focus from the overall order to individual items, giving you visibility across your entire pipeline.

Managing Your Pipeline

The Line items view is designed to help you prioritize what needs your attention immediately.

  • Quick Filters: Use the filters at the top of the table to view items by status: Unfulfilled, Partially Fulfilled, or Fulfilled.

  • Sorting: Click any column header to sort the data. Click once for ascending order and a second time for descending order.

  • Grouping Data: If you want to see patterns such as which items are ordered in the highest quantities click the three-dot menu on a column header and select Group by

Customizing Your Workflow

Create custom tabs so your preferred filters and layout are saved automatically.

Step 1: Create a New Tab

  1. Click New Tab [+] at the top of the table.

  2. Type a descriptive name

  3. Press Enter to create the tab.

Step 2: Configure Table Settings

  1. Select your new tab.

  2. Rearrange Columns: Click and drag columns to the left or right to change their order.

  3. Show, hide, and organize columns: Click the Table settings icon to control how your table is displayed.

    From here, you can:

    • Show or hide columns

    • Reorder columns

    • Pin important columns to the left or right

    • Reset the layout to the default view

  4. Uncheck any unnecessary columns to reduce clutter and check the ones you need (like Item availability).

  5. Move your most important data to the front of the view.

Step 3: Save Your View

Once the table looks exactly how you want it, click Save tab. This configuration will now be waiting for you every time you return to this tab.

The Line items view helps you move from reactive order handling to proactive fulfillment planning.
By filtering, sorting, grouping, and customizing your layout, you can quickly identify:

  • Items requiring immediate fulfillment

  • Stock constraints affecting delivery timelines

  • High-volume products

  • Workflow bottlenecks across orders

Once saved, your personalized view keeps critical data front and center reducing manual effort and helping your team work efficiently.
