0:01 Managing operations is an important part of the functionality here at Digit. Operations are the individual steps that your parts may go through on the production floor while being made.

0:10 To manage these operations, you can click on the settings icon in the top navigation, go into the production section and find operations.

0:17 Click on that to see a table of all of the operations that you have. This table is sorted by active operations by default.

0:24 If you'd like to see all of them, including archived, you can click on the all tab here. Within operations, you can either create new operations, name the operation, set a default work center, where is that operation being, taking place, is it in injection, is it in hot stamping, is it in assembly, you

0:42 can add equipment to that operation, and you can add tools that are used by that operation. You can set it as active or archived, and you can set default setup times and run times shown in seconds here.

0:56 One important note is that operations can have multiple configurations. So configuration 1, 2, and 1 might be at a certain work center with a certain combination of equipment and tool.

1:11 You can add another configuration that has a different setup. Once you're done entering in this form you can click add option.

1:17 And you can see that operation appear on this list. Anytime you can come in and edit operations by clicking on the operation name.

1:26 You can change the name, update the work center, update the tooling, add new configurations and more. Once these are set.

1:33 You'll now be able to see these operations when you're going and managing an item's routing. So if you go into an item and you find a make item.

1:41 Then you can go in and set. New routing steps based on the operations that you've set. So here we'll click on our smart routing.

1:49 Phone case blue. We'll go into production. We'll go to routing and we can see that we have created some routing already or the smartphone case.

1:58 This includes all of the operations we have here. If we click edit item routing, we can see all of the different routing steps appear here.

2:05 In this case, we have all the operations that we've created and you can toggle these on or off to update that specific, specific items routing.

2:14 We have more updates in the future where you can have different routing versions. But this is how you operate or manage operations in Digit.
