Hello everyone! I wanted to share a very exciting update that the label creation functionality is getting a big UI update, so I'm going to jump into our default production label here.
0:16
And one of the things you'll notice now is that the sides are swapped, and as you scroll on this side, the label stays in place, so you're always able to see your changes as you make them.
0:29
Some other things that are different now is you'll notice the, the interface here looks a little bit different. As a reminder, you do have the ability to fully customize the sizes of your labels here.
0:41
Of course, then you would need to adjust the size of your labels, or of your text fields. And, You can change the text size of different fields by pressing up or down, or typing in the number that you want for the item name.
1:01
We still have high contrast. And you can now, make the label name much bigger, and it sizes up correctly with no overlap.
1:09
So, depending on how big you want things, it should look good now at any size. And some of the additional functionality that's coming in here is we've got a little bit more clarity.
1:21
On where your custom items are coming from. So, you can see here that all of these in our demo account are from the item itself.
1:30
And you can also see that we pull in custom fields from inventory as well. So, those are nice. And now available.
1:38
And if you have noticed over here, there's no more sections. So, you can now really truly rearrange things in any order that you want.
1:49
So, the item name doesn't have to be at the top. You can move it down just below. You can before the barcode if you want.
1:56
A lot more flexibility here. And the other things that I wanted to highlight is that if you look here at the gross, the tear, and the net.
2:06
This is showing you an example now of how you can Thank you. Choose to put items on the same row.
2:13
So you can see there's now a align horizontal button here. And if we toggle this on or off, that indicates whether or not it pairs up with the other, uh, the other one that is next to it.
2:26
And you can see if they're not all next to each other, they won't pair up, which makes sense. But if we then drag this one back up, it'll jump back up to the previous line as expected.
2:39
And so you can see this is applicable on left to right. lots of the fields here, almost all of them other than, I believe, the organization at the top.
2:46
The other thing you can see over here is that if you have any use case for needing to be able to scan additional pieces of information other than just the inventory itself.
2:57
label number itself, you can now add that. So if grade, um, a custom property on our inventory, something we need to be able to scan into another system or other places, you can now add that as an additional barcode here on the label.
3:13
So, um, obviously here we'd want to, let me move our item name back up to the top, and I will reduce the size again to get that, so everything fits nicely on our page, and of course you can also still, um, change the alignment to center align if you want, and again, some things here will smartly go onto
3:38
the same line or not, depending on these align horizontal options, and the last thing I'll show you is that, if you want, you can also now change hide the title of any field.
3:49
So, if you already know that your internal SKU is on the left and the vendor is on the right, you can hide the title and save some additional space there as well.
3:58
Or, for clarity, you can toggle them back on. So, we hope you learned and you are as excited about this update as we are.
4:04
It creates a lot more flexibility and paired with the ability to create custom labels and assign them to items to, you know, say different items have different default labels.
4:15
We hope this creates a lot more flexibility for you and for your workflows. And we can't wait to hear how you like it and what other feedback or questions you might have for this new feature.
4:25
Thank you.
