Video walkthrough: Connecting WooCommerce to Digit
Watch this video to see how to authorize the WooCommerce connection, configure your sync settings, and import your store data into Digit.
Getting started
Navigate to the integration setup from your Digit settings.
Go to Settings in the left side panel.
Click Integrations.
Locate WooCommerce and click Get started.
A setup modal will appear, guiding you through the three steps to complete the integration.
Step 1: Connect your WooCommerce store
Authorize Digit to connect to your WooCommerce store.
Click Connect to WooCommerce. A pop-up window will open prompting you to enter the URL of your WooCommerce store.
Enter your full store URL, including the https:// prefix, and click Connect WooCommerce.
Log in with your WooCommerce credentials when prompted.
You will be taken to an authorization screen. Review the connection request and click Approve to continue.
Once authorized, the pop-up will close and the modal will display a connecting notice. When the connection is established, click Next to proceed to step 2.
π‘ Digit Tip: Make sure to use the full URL of your WooCommerce store, including https://. An incomplete URL will prevent the connection from being established.
Step 2: Configure your sync settings
Define which orders Digit should sync from your WooCommerce store.
Set a start date to sync orders created from a specific point in time, or leave this blank to bring in all existing orders.
Select which order statuses to include β such as Active, Archived, or Cancelled. You can select multiple statuses at a time.
Once your settings are configured, click Next.
βΉοΈ Note: If you want to bring in all existing orders regardless of status or date, you can skip the filters entirely and proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Import your data and turn on sync
Review what will be imported and start the sync process.
Review the import summary, which shows the products and orders that will be brought in from WooCommerce into Digit.
Click Start import. You will see the import progress update in real time.
Once complete, the status will update to Import complete and Sync on. Click Close to exit the modal.
β οΈ Heads up: Importing and syncing can overwrite existing data in Digit. To be safe, back up your WooCommerce data before starting the import.
β Best practice: Review your sync settings carefully before clicking Start import. Once the two-way sync is enabled, any changes made in Digit will automatically sync back to WooCommerce.
WooCommerce is now connected
Back on the Integrations page, you will see WooCommerce listed under your integrations with a Sync on badge confirming the connection is active.
From here, click Settings at any time to:
Update your sync settings, such as the orders' start date and order statuses.
Trigger a manual sync.
Disconnect the integration if needed.
