InDigit, there are two ways to ship.
You can do single-order shipments or multi-order shipments. In this video, we'll look at single-order shipments.
If you go to the shipping tab, you can see two sub-tabs,
orders and shipments. Orders will show you all of the sales orders that are
ready to be fulfilled. They have information around item availability,
pick status, pack status, and fulfillment status.

This screen is meant to be used by the warehouse operators,
so they can get an overview of any orders that are needing to be
picked, packed, and shipped. In the item availability status,
if you see fully, ah, available, this means that all of these orders in
the inventory for all of the items on the sales order are in stock
and ready to be picked and full. If you see partially available,
this means that at least one item does not have the required inventory requested
by the sales order to be met and full. If you see unavailable,
that means that no item has any inventory available to be picked,
packed, and shipped. If you see fully picked, that means that this order has
already been picked and full. Let's go to an order that has,
uhm, fully available inventory ready to be picked.
1:10
In this case, we'll go to sales order 40.
When you open this screen, you'll see a pick,
pack, and ship tab section at the top.
The pick section is for used items. This is to come in and pick
inventory for this order. They can automatically scan the barcode
label for the item that's on the shelf or on the floor for it
to be picked into this shipment.
1:33
Alternatively, you can select on the arrow key here to see all of the
individual labels of this inventory and manually pick this from any order.
We'll go ahead and pick one piece here.
Once you've picked it, you can see this progress bar update.
In this case, we only needed one unit for this item.
So it says 100% picked, and users will get a notification to start packing
this order. Or they can go and click on the pack tab up top.

Here, you have a lot of options for how you can structure your packages
as a For especially large orders,
you can build multiple boxes or pallets to put on a truck,
or you can ship as is. If, for example,
you've pulled a pallet off the shelf that's already wrapped and ready to ship,
you can ship it as is. In this case,
we're going to put this into a box. We'll select a box,
and we'll go ahead and pack it in. We can save the container if
we want. If we want to put dimensions, length, width,
and height of the box, and weight of the box, we can put that
in here. In this case, we'll leave those blank, and we'll get ready to
ship this order.
2:37
When you go to ship, you might have multiple boxes or multiple pallets.
You can ship maybe one or two of them at a time,
or you can click on ship all packages.
2:46
Here, you're able to fill out the carrier, pickup,
or drop-off forms. So,
for a carrier, if you're shipping this out on a truck, you can select
this. Select one of our options for carrier or pre-package.
In this case, we'll do FedEx Ground. For pickup,
this is where a customer might be coming to your facility to pick up
an order. And for drop-off, let's say that you're taking a botched truck across
town to drop something off on a customer's site. You can select drop-off there.
3:10
You can come down and look at all of your packing slip and bill
of lading documents here. You can select these to print them out.
And that's it. Then click on ship package to ship this out the door.
3:22
One note for all of these shipments is that you
do have the ability to customize the shipping documentation by going to our
settings tab, going into document templates,
packing slip, and bill of lading dropdowns to edit how you want those
to appear. And that is how you do single order shipments.
