There are a few options for shipments in Digit.

You can create single-order shipments that are shipments,

only shipping items from one order, or you can create multi-order shipments where you

have a single shipment that includes pieces from multiple orders.

0:12

Here we're going to look at the multi-order shipment workflow.

To create a multi-order shipment, you can click on the button here in the

top right in the shipping tab. And you'll be presented a list of all

of your unfilled orders. Select one order,

and you'll see the list update accordingly. What you see here are a list

of all of the other orders that are going to the same shipping address.

0:32

So in this way, you can group all of the different things going to

the same customer, and the same customer address,

more specifically. And you can begin batching these together.

We'll select three orders and click continue.

Next, we'll be brought into a combined pick screen.

So here, you can see items that have been repeated,

but you'll notice that this smartphone case blue is for sales order 42,

whereas this smartphone case blue is from sales order 25.

We have some additional features coming out in the future that will allow for

better grouping of these. But right now, this is a great screen for your

operators to go and pick all of the necessary,

uh, items for these shipments. One of these future views will combine these

smartphone case blues, add up the totals so they can just do one pick motion.

Once they go through and pick these by simply scanning the

barcodes from the floor here, or by manually picking these barcodes by clicking into

the rows. So in this case, we'll pick 24 of these.

1:25

Then they can go into the pack screen where they can go and create

all of the pallets and the boxes needed for the shipment.

In this case, let's go in and let's pick a few more pieces here.

Let's do, uhm, 80 of these.

Let's do 10 of these. And let's pick some of our smartphone

keys red as well. So we'll come in here and let's do 59.

1:51

And so, so once we've picked everything,

we can go to the pack screen and we can see a really nice

breakout of all of the items that we've picked by sales order.

1:59

Let's say that we want to put all of these on a single pallet.

We'll create that pallet and simply pack all of these into that pallet.

Now we're ready to ship. We click ship,

we can select the pallet, print out all of our shipping paperwork if we're

sending this out by carrier.

2:16

Alternatively, we can have a customer pick this up from our warehouse or drop it

off. In this case,

we'll do FedEx Ground FOB, print our shipping documents,

and successfully ship this one package.
